What's included?
In its primary mode the AIDA System is a method of controlling audio, video, lighting, and a host of other functions in a synchronized fashion to communicate your message in a new, vibrant way. Speakers and video displays are typically not included as part of the Core system, but instead are treated as peripheral devices through which AIDA outputs program material. In order to play audio in a particular location there must be speakers present, likewise some type of display device for video. A single AIDA Core can be configured to supply any number of speaker zones or video devices, but is not intended to integrate with other A/V system components such as receivers or amplifiers.

Lighting control is accomplished by the simple replacement of existing wall switches with system dimmers or switches. The AIDA System devices arrive preconfigured and ready to install by your electrician. Once installed, lights on that circuit can be turned on, off, and dimmed as part of your AIDA System scripts. Local control of lights is maintained, so if you walk into a room and turn on the light switch it continues to function normally. Three and four-way circuits can be made to work in this same manner, but require additional devices. Your electrician should have little difficulty with the installation. Components to control lamps, signs, or other "plug-in" type fixtures can also be integrated with ease.

You won't need a CD player or other music source since the ability to play music in the background is a standard AIDA feature, facilitated by an integrated mp3 player.
